Fluids & Lubricants

Fluids and lubricants reduce wear and keep various systems functioning properly but regulating friction and heat.   Oils keep engines, transmissions, and differentials working smoothly and ensure longevity of gears, bearings, seals and other internal parts like cams, pistons, rods, and valves.  Grease keeps suspension, steering, and brake components operating by reducing friction and restricting movement of parts like ball joints, tie rods, caliper slides, and other bushings.  Brake fluid is used to operate hyrdraulic systems like brakes and clutches by transferring force into pressure to amplify braking and clutch force.  Antifreeze or coolant is used to increase the boiling point and decrease the freezing point to allow the engine to function is a wide range of temperatures.
